Culdene is a newly refurbished one bedroomed self-contained self catering ground floor apartment off Main Street and is situated at the foot of Warton Crag in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  You can walk through our smallholding up the crag and onwards to Leighton Moss Bird Reserve. There are inns, one serving meals, within easy walking distance.  Carnforth, with it's  station clock of 'Brief Encounter' fame, is two miles and here are cafes, inns, takeaways, supermarkets and a large bookshop for browsers.

The accommodation is central for visiting the lakes, Yorkshire dales, Trough of Bowland and the lesser known picturesque villages around Morecambe Bay. Morecambe, itself, along with The Eric Morecambe memorial, has some fascinating Nursery Rhyme pavements, well worth a look. Warton is between the historical places of Lancaster and Kendal.
